Barnsfold Waters Trout Fishery is situated in the shadow of Beacon Fell Country Park. There are two Lakes, Barns and Beacon, each approximately eleven acres. Both lakes offer excellent bank fishing. Boats are also available.

The fishing is fly only. The Fishery is one where anglers can expect good sport using imative patterns, and buzzer fishing is especially good. Barnsfold Ranbow are hard fighting, firm fleshed and make superb eating.

Barnsfold Waters is open throughout the year and lure fishing with a sinking line produces quality fish during the winter months. Several top restaurants in the surrounding area have Barnsfold Waters Trout
on the menu, such is the quality of the fish.

It is advisable to book boats in advance. Expert casting tuition is availabe if required. Car parking, toilets and a fishing hut are provided for anyone wanting to use them.
